UK ecommerce operating company

We build consumer brands and run every step behind them.

IS COMMERCE LIMITED designs, sources, certifies, lists, ships and supports its own home and kitchen products. One operating engine sits behind every order, from the factory floor to the customer's door.

How it works

From an idea to a doorstep, in seven steps.

Every product we sell goes through the same process. Doing it the same way every time is what keeps quality steady and margins predictable.

01

Find real demand

We study search volumes, reviews and pricing gaps to find products people already want, then look for what current options get wrong.

Data before design
02

Design and specify

We set the features, finishes, packaging and target cost with the factory, so the numbers work before a single unit is made.

Margin modelled up front
03

Test and certify

Independent lab testing against UK electrical safety, EMC and RoHS rules, with a UK Declaration of Conformity for every product.

Compliance first, always
04

Manufacture and ship

Production runs of around 2,000 units are inspected, then shipped by sea straight into UK fulfilment centres.

10 to 14 weeks, factory to shelf
05

List and launch

Photography, video, listing copy and launch advertising, built once and adapted for each marketplace's rules and buyers.

One catalogue, many storefronts
06

Sell and fulfil

Orders from every channel draw on the same UK stock and are dispatched automatically, with tracking sent back to the customer.

No stock split, no oversells
07

Support, listen and improve

UK-based customer support handles questions, returns and warranty claims. Every review and return reason is logged and fed back into the next production run, so each version is better than the last.

The loop that builds a brand
The numbers behind a sale

Where the money goes on a £39.99 order.

Most shoppers see the price. Operators see the split. A product only becomes a brand when this split leaves enough to reinvest.

1

VAT comes off the top. One sixth of every UK consumer price belongs to HMRC, not the seller.

2

Platforms take their share. Marketplace fees and fulfilment costs often add up to a quarter of the price.

3

Stock is cash on a shelf. With 10 to 14 week lead times, ordering too much ties up money and ordering too little loses rank.

What we run in-house

Six disciplines, one operating system.

We are not a reseller. We own the full commercial life of a product and measure each part of it.

Sourcing and product

Supplier selection, factory audits, quality checks and cost modelling for every product we bring to market.

Safety and compliance

Lab testing, UK conformity paperwork, product labelling and marketplace safety checks, kept on file and up to date.

Catalogue and content

Product photography, short-form video, listing copy and enhanced content designed to convert on each platform.

Advertising and growth

On-platform ads, promotions and social content, each run against a target return rather than a spend budget.

Logistics and stock

Inbound freight, UK warehousing, multi-channel fulfilment and stock planning that balances availability with cash flow.

Customer care

UK-based support for pre-sale questions, returns and warranty, with every case used to improve the product.

Where we sell

Sell everywhere. Stock in one place.

Each marketplace has its own fees, rules and shoppers. We run them as separate storefronts, but they all draw on one shared pool of UK stock.

Prices that make sense per channel

Each storefront is priced against its own fees, so every channel pays its way.

Orders routed automatically

Sales from any channel are passed to the same warehouse network, with tracking returned to the buyer.

New channels tested carefully

Social commerce and new marketplaces are trialled small and only scaled once the numbers prove out.

How we think

Four rules we operate by.

i.

Safety is not optional

No product goes on sale without independent testing and the right UK paperwork. It protects customers, and it protects the business.

ii.

Stock is cash

Every unit in a warehouse is money that could be working elsewhere. We plan orders around real sales speed, not hope.

iii.

Advertising is an investment

Ad spend has to earn its place. Each campaign has a target return and is cut if it misses.

iv.

Reviews are the real asset

Rankings change and fees rise. Happy customers and honest reviews are what last, so service comes first.
